The harbor, boats and your first trip
Your empire is much bigger than just one city. Learn all about the travel system in Maffiosi, buy your own boat or plane, and discover lucrative smuggling routes.
When you just start out in Maffiosi, you naturally spend all your time primarily in your own familiar starting city. But a real, highly ambitious mafia boss obviously looks much further than the immediate borders of his own neighborhood. It is definitely time to drastically broaden your virtual horizon, explore entirely new cities, and expand your growing empire internationally. Today we take a close look at the harbor, the local airport, and exactly how you meticulously plan your very first successful trip.
The ultimate gateway to the big world
The bustling harbor and the impressive airport are your most important tickets to entirely new opportunities. In the game, there are multiple different cities, each with their own specific economy, unique missions, and distinct chances. If, for example, certain rare items have become extremely expensive in your current city, it can be enormously lucrative to buy them much cheaper somewhere else entirely. By traveling regularly, you unlock these kinds of highly unique advantages and you can significantly increase your daily profit margins.
From a simple rowboat to a luxury yacht
Before you can just head out onto the open sea, you logically need a reliable vessel. Pay a quick visit to the extensive boat shop down in the harbor. Here you will find truly everything, from a very modest, simple wooden rowboat for the smallest of budgets, to gigantic and ultra-modern luxury yachts. The much better and faster your boat is, the more often you can smoothly travel back and forth without facing extremely long waiting times. In addition, a very large boat offers much more valuable storage space for all your illicit goods and heavy weapons.
Take to the skies
Do you happen to have a little more money to spend and do you really want to travel in absolute style? Then be sure to take a good look at the local airplane shop located at the airport. Aviation is by far the absolute fastest way to cover very large distances. With your very own shiny private plane, you can be in a completely different city within mere seconds. This is absolutely perfect for when you need to quickly flee from an aggressively rivaling mafia family, or when you need to close a very important deal on the completely other side of the country at lightning speed.
Smuggling for beginners and true experts
Traveling is not only very fun for discovering cool new areas, it is also the absolute foundation for setting up extremely profitable smuggling routes. Just imagine this: you buy a huge load of cheap cigarettes or alcohol in City A. You load everything securely into your fast boat or spacious plane, and then confidently sell it with a gigantic and absurd profit margin in City B, where a massive shortage has just recently arisen. This is exactly how the smartest and most calculating players become filthy rich in absolute record time.
Start your first, highly exciting trip today. Buy a very reliable vehicle, pack your heaviest bags carefully, and eagerly discover what enormous hidden treasures the other vibrant cities of Maffiosi have in store for you.
