Today we look at the less pleasant sides of the job: prison and the hospital. Then we finish off with some quick tips for new players and useful menus like the player lists.
Caught! The Prison
If a crime fails, chances are you end up in prison. That is a huge bummer, because you temporarily can't do anything. Fortunately you have options. You can serve your time, try to break out or buy your bail. Prison escapes are risky, but if they succeed you are immediately free again. Friends can also help by buying you out. So make sure you have good connections!
Recovering in the Hospital and the Shop
After a tough fight or a drive-by you are probably battered. The hospital is the place where you restore your health. This costs money, but it is essential to be able to participate again. To reduce the chance of a hospital visit, you should regularly visit the shop. Here you buy weapons, bulletproof vests and other equipment to protect yourself and strike harder.
Vacation and Inviting Friends
Are you going away for the weekend and don't want your empire to collapse? Use the vacation mode. Your account will then be safely frozen, so no one can attack you. Do you want to give your account a boost? Then use the referral system to invite friends. This is a well-known marketing technique, but in the game it earns you both nice in-game rewards. Playing with friends is much more fun anyway.
Keep an Eye on Your Competitors
Knowledge is power. Use the player list and the overview with online players to see who is active. Look for potential victims, new faction members or keep an eye on whether your rivals are online. It helps you to plan your actions strategically.
